Hi beauties! I have been travelling quite frequently for the past month or so and my sleeping patterns have not been the most stable. On some nights I would be dying to go to bed at 10pm and fall straight into a deep sleep as soon as my head hit the pillow and on other nights, I would be rolling around in bed wide awake at 4am. Here are some of my “sleepy essentials” for nights I just want to calm and put myself into a relaxed mood so I can get ready for bed and have a good night’s sleep ♡
♡ Sleepy Essential No.1 – Laura Mercier La Petite Pâtisserie Soufflé Body Crème Collection ♡
I have always wanted to try these body cremes from Laura Mercier and after seeing them on sale at Space NK a while back, I knew I had to snatch them up before they are gone. These are my choice of body creme when I need something to get me in a relaxed and sleepy mood after I shower. These cremes are super luxurious, non-greasy and smell so good they automatically put me into a stress-free mood 🙂 If you want to pick up a particular scent, I definitely recommend Ambre Vanillé, Tarte au Citron or Crème brûlée. They in my opinion smell the best out of all the soufflé body crèmes and are a dream to put on as a pre-bed treat. ♡
♡ Sleepy Essential No.2 – This Works Dream Team: Deep Sleep Pillow Spray and Stress Less Duo ♡
I picked this duo up around Christmas-time and these have been put into good use by both me and my flatmate during restless nights these few months 🙂 Both of these products contain lavender oil in them and smell extremely therapeutic. I like to put the Stress Less oil on my wrists and spritz the pillow spray twice on my pillow 🙂 I believe these products will also help when you are trying to get some sleep on the plane or train and these have definitely helped me when it comes to getting a good night’s sleep ♡
♡ Sleepy Essential No.3 – The Body Shop Elderflower Unperfumed Eye Gel ♡
This product was a gift when I made some purchases at the Body Shop a while back and I must say I have been loving using this before bed at night 🙂 At first I did not think I would enjoy this eye gel at all as I am very picky with my eye creams (as you might be able to tell from my It didn’t work out… post :P) but I have actually been really enjoying using this at night. The gel consistency is non-sticky and gives off a nice and cooling sensation when applied to my tired eyes before bed and I believe this has contributed to my sweet dreams at night. ♡
