I really should be studying for my final law exams right now which are in less than 3 days’ time (OH GOSH.) but something just arrived in my mail and let me just say, swooning is a complete understatement when I opened my package from Tom Ford Beauty and saw this limited edition Summer 2015 shimmering body oil that I have been dying to get my hands on (and by that I mean seeing it on a blogpost, falling in love AND giving in and purchasing it after 10 minutes?!)
I have always been attracted to Tom Ford beauty products for obvious reasons, but this super luxurious shimmering body oil really stood out to me the moment I saw it. According to Tom Ford, this fragranced body oil is meant to sooth your skin while giving your body a completely sun-kissed and glowing look with shimmer of gold and platinum leaf. I tested the product on my arm and it is very lightweight, while still leaving my skin really smooth and soft afterwards! I am going on a short vacation right after my exams and I think this would be the perfect summer vacation beauty product to bring with me 🙂 The scent is completely out of this world – it smells like fruits and coconut in the most sophisticated way possible, and is really strong in the sense that it can definitely double up as perfume ♡
My heart died a little when I saw the price tag (as it did for just about any other TF product – #lesigh) but I treated it as a little retail therapy for myself and also as a form of exam motivation 🙂 I purchased the body oil from House of Fraser after doing a little research and finding out that they actually offer 10% off for students (Who knew?! I didn’t!). £7 off the original price was pretty much enough for me to justify buying this for myself haha ♡
I am also eyeing the new lipsticks in Tom Ford’s Summer 2015 collection (I admit, the limited edition white lipstick packaging got me – It is BEAUTIFUL!) but honestly my bank saving is not getting any happier LOL, although I am! I will have to force myself to wait until my exams are over (in 3 weeks’ time!) to see if I worked hard enough to be Tom Ford lipstick worthy 😛 Talk about exam motivation… I honestly don’t know anything that works better than glamorous beauty products. I guess the idea of finishing exams and graduating with amazing grades works too!

Hi jacqueline! Ow I am soo jealous you have the tom ford body oil! I have not yet tried any of Tom fords products and am dying to do so but they are not available in my city yet!! 🙁 I hope in my next travel I will pick at least 1 thing up haha I love the fact this one doubles up as a perfume!!
