Hi guys! ♡ It has been a longgg time since I have done a life update so I thought it would be nice for me to do one since I haven’t been posting very recently and life has been CRAZY these few weeks (and will continue to be for another month)! ♡
It is that time of the year again when the weather is beautiful and the sunglasses are out and things just seem to be perfect except for one thing – EXAMS. And in my case, LAW EXAMS. I am in my second year of uni and the grades I get this year are super important if I want to graduate with a 2.1 and get started with a legal career. My final exams are in 3 weeks’ time and they have been stressing me out like crazy! I have been spending at least 12 hours a day at the library and for some reason studying just seems to be so much more stressful than last year (well it’s probably because I didn’t work half as hard in Year 1 and the grades back then weren’t AS important as they are now). Nonetheless, I am just going to work as hard as I can and whatever grade I get in the end I will be happy with as long as I know I have done my best 🙂 That being said, I won’t have much time to blog at all until the start of June but I might do a post here and there between now and June and I am definitely extremely excited for the things to come after my exams are done! 😀 ♡
Fitness-wise, I did mention quite a while ago that I was planning to join a gym and I did! I have been going to the gym since November last year and I am in love with the classes that my gym offers. I tend to go to Pilates class at least twice a week and I found that it really helps strengthen my back and abs 🙂 Which is really important for me as I used to get back pain quite a lot before I started exercising frequently. I also tried different toning classes and love boxing as a cardio workout! (Pink boxing gloves being the best part of it HEHE as you can see in the picture above :P) Since Summer is just around the corner, I am also doing the Tone It Up Bikini Series 2015! It is basically a fitness and nutrition plan that promotes lifestyle change instead of just being a short-term diet and exercise plan. If you search #toneitup or #bikiniseries on Instagram, you will find all the other girls who are doing the plan as well and it is the most motivating community ever 🙂 Even though I am extremely busy at the moment, I still try to sneak out for a 45 minutes workout at the gym everyday before going back to the library. I am not sure if I can continue sticking to the plan as exams get closer but I will definitely try my best 🙂 If you want to follow my fitness update definitely go to my Instagram account because I post the healthy food that I eat and all my workouts on there everyday! ♡
